TWO EDUCATIONAL OPTIONSINTENSIVE education
6 DAY COURSE: Primarily focused on developing a clear understanding of the paradigm of effective disciple making as well as how to implement it. We also provide exposure to basic tools that help each person start making disciples effectively. (INTENSIVES are scheduled multiple times during the calendar year - email us for current list of options!) Missional LIVE-IT experience 5-7 MONTH COURSE: Considered a part or full time student (lives on campus, meals are provided, must have transportation, or develop a plan w/staff before arrival). Morning classes occur three days a week with additional self-guided learning; actual “lab” ministry is conducted in the afternoon/evening. Minimum of three evenings a week engaged in disciple making ministry. Two Sabbath’s a month engaged in implementing aspects of the program in assigned church; “Lab” time will be with supervision initially - leading to independence in ministry as able. -- certification depends on student effort, achieving minimum outcomes and developing competencies for this type of ministry. CHURCH TRAINING Some members can't take time off to attend the training. in 3 to 4 weekends (minimum one month between sessions) members in a local church can have the opportunity to learn some of the most important aspects of evangelistic disciple making. ON CAMPUS STUDENTSACCOMMODATIONS
There are multiple options for student housing - some will be in a dorm situation, others in local homes (even tent camping, if preferred). Please share with us your needs and work with us so we can allow as many students as possible [We can guarantee there will never be more than two students living in a room.] STUDENT LIFE Early mornings will be reserved for personal time. Mid-morning class instruction time, then lunch and class completed by mid-afternoon. Late afternoon and evenings will consist of hands-on ministry application per plan developed with the director and staff. There are many trails and roads to walk, hike, or bike. The small town of South Bend is 3.5 miles North of the campus. The ocean is about an hour drive West, Lake Sylvia State park about 45 min drive North with single track, campsites and fishing. Certain times of the year there is kayaking/canoeing in the rivers. Also, various small shops, and activities are available between South Bend and Raymond. |
