IMMERSED
Is designed to intentionally train, equip, and empower people to become effective missionary-oriented disciple makers regardless of where they live and do life. Each person will learn how to make disciples who make disciples. They will be able to work for souls both through one on one ministry, as well as in small groups. Students will come away with the ability to work as pioneers in communities without a church, as well as in communities where an Adventist church already exists. It revolves around the concept that the great commission to "go and make disciples..." is a process. This process involves four strategic missional components outlined as:
SHOW - SHARE - SERVE - SEND
Is designed to intentionally train, equip, and empower people to become effective missionary-oriented disciple makers regardless of where they live and do life. SHOWING GOD'S LOVE
Everything in a disciples life flows from a personal connection with Jesus, the source of life. When we embrace His love and design for living, we long to help others know the One who saved us from the penalty and power of sin! God's love compels us to intentionally reveal Jesus to others in practical ways. This leads to building authentic relationships with people that develop into genuine friendship.
The SALT of the earth.
SHARING GOD'S TRUTH
When a person knows we care, they usually take the next step to inquire why we love others the way we do. This is our opportunity to intentionally teach them about the God who loves them so much He is willing to die, so that they may live! They learn present truth as it is in Jesus looking forward to the day when He comes again to take them home.
The LIGHT of the world.
SERVING JESUS WITH OUR GIFTS
Some who embrace the gospel will take that next step of baptism as a faithful disciple, and become new members in a local church. These will still need guidance, support, and encouragement to use their gifts in ministry within the safe place of the church family.
The BODY of Christ.
SENT FORTH TO MAKE DISCIPLES
Now that these new members are using their gifts in service, we are then called to train them to live a missional life of making disciples - reaching the whole world, one precious soul after another!
